The FDA is a statewide, professional membership organization representing Florida-licensed dentists and a constituent society of the American Dental Association (ADA). It was established in 1884 to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care from dental professionals. Through the “Power of Three,” the FDA serves as the state-level intermediary for the ADA and the six Florida local dental societies. The FDA provides a variety of services, benefits and opportunities dedicated to the success of its dental professionals through continuing education, professional development, advocacy, peer review, leadership training, networking, an annual conference, as well as information and resources that enable dental professionals to enhance the quality of their services.
