Exit Smith has extensive experience in veteran services and military operations, currently serving as the State Veterans Program Coordinator for the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity since July 2018, where responsibilities include managing a $11 million annual grant aimed at assisting Florida Veterans with employment. Prior roles include serving as a Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialist with the United States Marine Corps and holding various positions within the Marine Corps from May 1989 to March 2016, including AFATDS Program Operations Chief and Operations Chief in Field Artillery. Exit Smith holds two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees, one from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and is currently pursuing further education at Excelsior University and Tallahassee Community College.
