Trina Travis

Trina Travis, PMP, currently serves as the Deputy Director at the Florida Department of Education - Division of Blind Services since July 2021. Prior to this role, Trina Travis held several positions within the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, including Workforce Programs Administrator from February 2015 and Senior Management Analyst Supervisor from March 2010 to January 2015. Trina Travis also worked as a Government Operations Consultant II--Program Lead and Government Operations Consultant II at the Agency for Workforce Innovation from April 2006 to March 2010, and as a Career Specialist under various contracts with Workforce Plus from September 2001 to April 2006. Before entering workforce development, Trina Travis served as an Economic Self-Sufficiency Specialist at the Florida Department of Children and Families and as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Tallahassee Memorial Behavioral Health Center. Trina Travis began professional career as an Office Manager at Mango Technologies, Inc. Trina Travis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English Education from the University of South Florida and has further education from Florida State University.
