Timothy O'Hearn

Timothy O'Hearn is an experienced public health professional currently serving as a Program Administrator for the Family Planning program at the Florida Department of Health in Duval County since March 2022. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing a budget exceeding $1 million, and overseeing educational outreach for health staff. Previously, Timothy was a Senior Contract Manager handling over $3 million in HIV prevention contracts. Timothy's extensive background includes roles as Regional Global Fund Liaison Officer for USAID, where project management and strategic planning were key responsibilities, and as Project Manager for a polio eradication campaign in Afghanistan. Additional experience spans over eight years with John Snow, Inc., consulting for various health initiatives across Africa and the Middle East, along with prior roles in Native American health organizations and the Peace Corps.
