Albert Salas

Albert Salas has extensive experience in transportation engineering and management, currently serving as the Director of Transportation Operations at the Florida Department of Transportation since October 2010. Previously held roles at the same organization include Turnpike Construction Engineer, Broward Operations Construction Engineer, and Assistant Resident Engineer. Prior to that, Albert served as an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University and worked as a Project Manager at Southern Pan Services. Early professional experience includes a position as a Structural Engineer at Martinez Engineering Group. Albert holds a Master’s degree in Construction Management from Florida International University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
