Jennifer Z. Carver

Jennifer Z. Carver is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in community and environmental planning. Currently serving as Community Planning Administrator at the Florida Department of Transportation since August 2017, Jennifer has held multiple significant positions in the agency, including Senior Statewide Planning Coordinator and Statewide Community Planning Coordinator. Prior roles include Project Planner and Planning Manager at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, as well as Senior Planner/Project Manager at Renaissance Planning Group. Jennifer's career began in 1996 at the Florida Department of Community Affairs and has included expertise in bicycle and pedestrian planning with the Tallahassee-Leon County MPO and Planning Department. Jennifer holds a Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Spanish from Santa Clara University.
