David Marzullo is Inspector General of the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs in Largo, Fla. Mr. Marzullo provides the central point for coordination of, and responsibility for, activities that promote accountability, integrity and efficiency in the department. The Inspector General conducts independent and objective audits, investigations and management reviews relating to department programs and operations. Mr. Marzullo retired from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in 2012 after more than 26 years of service. Mr. Marzullo served as a Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent in Los Angeles and Paraguay, South America, as well serving as the Resident Agent in Charge of the Ventura Resident Office covering a three-county area in California. During his career, he was recognized with two awards for Special Acts or Service; three Administrator’s Awards; the Federal Bar Association’s Distinguished Service Award; and thirteen Performance Awards.
