R. Steven Murray

R. Steven Murray has extensive experience in public affairs and communications, with a focus on military organizations. R. Steven served as the Communications Director for the Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs, overseeing various public affairs initiatives. Prior to this, they were the Director of Public Affairs for the Air Force Recruiting Service, where they coordinated employee communications and community outreach programs. R. Steven also served as the Department Head of the Public Affairs Department at the Defense Information School, leading a large training department and supervising a team of professionals. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Public Affairs for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, interacting with the press and managing media relations related to criminal investigations.

R. Steven Murray obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Southern Mississippi, which they attended from 1981 to 1985. R. Steven then went on to pursue further education, completing their Masters of Science in Administration at Central Michigan University from 1987 to 1989.
