Emily Tyler, MPS, currently serves as a Floodplain Management Specialist at the Florida Division of Emergency Management since July 2024. Previously, Emily worked as a Community Crisis Response Specialist at Family Resources from April 2019 to June 2024, where comprehensive stabilization services were provided to individuals in crisis in the Quad Cities area. Other roles include Certified Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Trainer, Residential Case Manager, and Homicide and Other Violent Crimes Specialist. Emily's early career involved positions at Metamora Grade School, Iowa Department of Corrections, and various internships related to law enforcement and youth services. Emily holds a Master of Professional Studies in Emergency Management, along with multiple graduate certificates from Tulane University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from St. Ambrose University.
