Ed Huggett, OD has extensive experience in the field of optometry. Ed started their career in 1991 as the Director of NuEyes Low Vision Solutions, where they provided comprehensive low vision rehabilitation services to patients of all ages. In 2006, they became the Director of the Low Vision Rehabilitation Clinic at Florida Eye Specialists & Cataract Institute.
Dr. Huggett also took on the role of Optometric Advisor for Dr. Lite in 2011, where they helped develop products that reduced blue-light exposure. In 2019, they joined the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind as an Optometrist.
In addition to their clinical work, Dr. Huggett has been involved in various educational and advisory roles. Dr. Huggett has also dedicated their time as a volunteer optometrist at the Shepherd Center, providing eye and vision care to underserved populations.

Ed Huggett, OD completed their Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston in 1990. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology from the University of South Florida in 1981.
