Tanya Byng

Tanya Byng, currently serving as the Chief Advancement Officer and Foundation & Corporate Relations Officer at Florida Grand Opera since January 2023, works collaboratively with the Chief Financial Officer and development team to foster strategic partnerships within the community to enhance fundraising and philanthropic efforts. As the owner of BYNG Inc since November 2017, Tanya also brings extensive experience in sales and project management, previously holding roles such as Sales Account Executive at Merrill Corporation and Project Manager at Merrill Datasite. Earlier professional roles include Principal Advisor and VP of Marketing & Development at SWOT Project Inc, and General Manager at Show-LITE, where exceptional customer service and advanced lighting solutions were priorities. Tanya's diverse background also encompasses experience as an Executive Producer and National Project Manager for various initiatives, highlighting a commitment to community engagement and organizational growth. Education credentials include studies at the University of Minnesota, complemented by training in television production.
