Charles J. Lockwood

Charles Lockwood serves as Executive Vice President of USF Health at the University of South Florida, directing multiple colleges including Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health since 2014. Lockwood also holds the titles of Dean at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and Senior Vice President of USF Health. At Tampa General Hospital, Lockwood has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer since January 2015, and chairs the USF - Tampa General Physicians Board of Directors. A section editor for UpToDate In Medicine since 2001 and former Editor-in-Chief of ModernMedicine's Contemporary Ob/Gyn, Lockwood has held leadership positions in professional societies, including Past President of both the American Gynecological and Obstetrical Society and the Society for Reproductive Investigation. Educational credentials include an MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, an MHCM from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a Sc.B. from Brown University.
