Shorty Robbins has extensive experience in the field of parks and recreation, currently serving as the District Secretary to Representative Cyndi Stevenson at the Florida House of Representatives since 2018. Previously, Shorty held the position of Parks and Recreation Division Manager at Seminole County Leisure Services from September 2014 to July 2016, and served as Recreation Services Manager for Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation from October 2011 to August 2014. Additionally, Shorty was the Division Chief of the Recreation and Community Services Department for the City of Jacksonville from September 2006 to September 2011, and worked as Administrative Manager at St Johns County Parks and Recreation from July 2001 to September 2006. Shorty has been a member of the Florida Recreation and Park Association since 1978. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation from the University of Florida, attended from 1975 to 1978.
