Edgar Osuna

Edgar Osuna, Ph.D., currently serves as the Chief Data & Analytics Officer at iuvity, where responsibilities include leading the creation of the Data, BI, Analytics, and Machine Learning division, managing a team of over 10 data professionals. In addition, Osuna is a Board Member and Chairman of the Innovation Committee for FIBA. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Mercantil Bank, where Osuna managed a strategic overhaul of the Bank's BSA/AML/OFAC Program and led the development of Risk Management Models. Osuna also established the Enterprise Risk Management function at Mercantil Bank Schweiz and co-led the creation of Mercantil's Global Risk Management Function. Osuna holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
