Amanda Lidia Rodriguez

Amanda Lidia Rodriguez currently serves as a Senior Success Coach in the Veteran and Military Affairs department at Florida International University, a position held since February 2020. In this role, Amanda assists veteran and military family members who are FIU students, helping them navigate challenges and develop strategic plans to achieve their academic objectives. Previously, Amanda worked as an Academic Advisor at Florida International University in early 2019 and gained experience as a Practicum Student, focusing on problem-solving and technology's role in access and accommodations. Earlier work experience includes roles as a Student Worker at the University of Connecticut - Dining Services and a Pink Sales Associate at Victoria's Secret. Amanda holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration and multiple certifications related to student support, including in stress management and empowering students with disabilities, along with a certificate in Veteran Suicide Prevention obtained in April 2024.
