Meer Safa

Meer Safa is a highly experienced engineer and lecturer with a strong background in materials science and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer I and Lecturer at Florida International University since March 2019, Meer has an extensive history of academic and research roles at the same institution, including Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Key contributions include the preparation and application of ionic liquids as electrolytes in various lithium batteries and the fabrication of cathode materials. Prior to this, experience includes a Research Assistant position at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and roles as Assistant Engineer in production and process at GPH ISPAT LIMITED and S.Co Steel Ltd, respectively. Education background includes a Ph.D. from Florida International University, a Master’s degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
