Iara Rodríguez

Iara Rodríguez, Esq. MSCJA (Lic. PR) is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in immigration law and criminal justice education. Currently serving as an attorney at Florida Legal Services, Inc., Iara previously worked as an independent contractor in immigration law and document review from 2019 to 2023. With a strong academic background, including a Masters in Science of Criminal Justice from Loyola University New Orleans and a J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, Iara has also held teaching positions as a professor at City University of Seattle and Seminole State College of Florida. Additionally, Iara has experience as an immigration detention attorney and has provided legal consulting services related to Puerto Rico jurisdiction.
