James Hellickson

James Hellickson is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General at the Florida Office of the Attorney General since February 2020. Prior to this role, James worked as a Prosecutor for the State of Florida from September 2016 to February 2020. James began legal studies as a third-year student at Charlotte School of Law from January 2012 to May 2014, culminating in a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2014. Earlier in their career, James served as a Deputy at the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office from June 2005 to June 2010 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida from 2002 to 2004, along with an Associate of Arts in General Studies from St. Petersburg College from 2000 to 2002.
