Chad Whitworth

Chad Whitworth is an experienced area manager at Florida Power & Light Company, overseeing transmission and substation operations since April 2017. In this role, Chad manages teams to ensure the safe and reliable construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities, while focusing on employee development and resource optimization to meet customer requirements. Prior positions include senior manager and construction manager, where Chad was responsible for large-scale construction projects and managing extensive teams and budgets. Previous roles at NextEra Energy Resources and Florida Power & Light further developed Chad's expertise in operations and engineering. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
