Danilo de-la-Torre

Danilo de-la-Torre is an Associate Engineer in Grid Control Systems and Protection & Control at Florida Power & Light Company since February 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Researcher at Florida International University, focusing on Schneider Electric PLC for Hardware-in-the-loop testing, and an Electrical Engineering Internship at AmePower, where tasks included analyzing PLC programming and conducting Hi-Pot Testing. Danilo served as a tutor covering a broad range of subjects at Florida International University and held leadership roles as Secretary of the Caring, Helping, Improving Club and President of the YES! For Environmental Sustainability Club. Danilo earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Florida International University and an Associate of Arts from Miami Dade College.
