Heather Kirkendall has over two decades of experience in digital communications and media relations, with a significant tenure at Florida Power & Light since November 2007. Currently, Heather serves as the Director of AI & Digital Execution Centers of Excellence and previously held roles including Director of Digital Content, Strategy & Experience, and Manager of Digital Communication Experience. Heather leads a team of over 20 professionals to optimize marketing and transactional communications through the Adobe suite and Hubspot. Prior experience includes positions at Planned Parenthood of Greater Miami as Director of Media Relations, and various producer roles at NBC stations and Miami-Dade County government news. Heather holds a B.A. in Broadcast Communications from Barry University and an A.A. in Mass Media from Broward College.
