Thomas Mercadante

Thomas Mercadante has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Thomas is currently working at Florida Power & Light as the ADMS CMO Lead since November 2023. Prior to that, they were with NextEra Energy, Inc. as Customer Service IT from September 2022 to November 2023. From March 2021 to September 2022, they served as the Director of Client Delivery at Neudesic. Thomas also worked at EY as a Manager - Consulting from March 2019 to March 2021.

Before their time at EY, Thomas had an extensive tenure at Con Edison starting in 2008. Thomas held various managerial and supervisory roles including Manager of AMI Operations Center, Project Specialist for the Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) Implementation Team, Manager of Electric Distribution Control Center, Operations Supervisor for Field & Substation Operations, and Operations Supervisor for Underground Electric Construction. Thomas also completed the GOLD program at Con Edison, which consisted of three six-month rotations in engineering and supervisory roles, focusing on leadership development, technical knowledge, and operational awareness.

In addition to their professional experience, Thomas Mercadante is an MBA graduate from NYU Stern School of Business, completing their degree from January 2015 to December 2017.

Thomas Mercadante completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from NYU Stern School of Business, specializing in Finance & Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering.
