Joseph Madigan

Joseph Madigan's work experience begins in 2006 as a Graduate Assistant and Graduate Education Recruiter at Niagara University. Joseph then worked as an Admission Counselor at Trocaire College in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, Joseph served as the Assistant Director of Admissions and Transfer Coordinator at St. Bonaventure University, where they recruited transfer students, conducted information sessions, and made acceptance decisions. Joseph then worked as an 11th and 12th Grade Reading Teacher in the Osceola County School District from 2009 to 2011, where they taught reading and implemented new instructional strategies. Joseph then joined the University of Florida as a Transfer and Freshman Admission Officer from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they became the Assistant Director of Student Recruitment at Eastern Florida State College, responsible for student outreach activities and recruitment presentations. In 2013, Joseph worked as an Admission Advisor at Niagara University, where they conducted high school visits and managed the admission website. Finally, from 2013 to the present, they have been at Florida Southern College, initially as the Senior Associate Director of Admissions and later promoted to Director of Recruitment Outreach. Joseph'sresponsibilities include setting goals for the admission team, leading recruitment strategic planning, evaluating vendors in higher education, and establishing relationships with high schools and counselors.

Joseph Madigan completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from Niagara University in 2004. Joseph then pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Literacy Instruction from Niagara University, which they obtained between 2004 and 2006. Joseph further pursued an Advanced Coursework Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Niagara University, completing it in 2007.
