Dr. Lois Carme J.d.

Adjunct Professor Law at Florida SouthWestern State College

Dr. Lois Carme, J.D., currently serves as an International Visiting Professor at the University of Cassino in Italy while also holding multiple adjunct professor positions at Florida Gulf Coast University and Florida SouthWestern State College, where courses in law, humanities, and the arts are offered. With a strong background in legal studies, highlighted by a Juris Doctor from Massachusetts School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Regis College, Dr. Carme integrates unique insights from the arts into academic teachings, exemplified by the course "Yes I Can." Additionally, extensive experience in music performance is reflected through the roles as lead vocalist in various ensembles such as the Pure Melody Duo and the Don Russell Society Swing Orchestra. Further education includes graduate credits in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.
