Mary Sprague is an experienced volunteer advocate and educator with a strong background in non-profit leadership and community service. Currently, Mary serves as a Volunteer Advocate for children at Guardian ad Litem since August 2016 and holds the role of Adjunct Professor of English at Florida SouthWestern State College since December 2014. Previous positions include Church and Community Relations Coordinator at Love INC, Executive Director of DebRA of America, and Vice President at VIP Community Services, where recognition included being voted among the Top Ten in the NY Times Non-Profit Excellence Awards. Mary also served as a Board Member for the National Organization for Rare Disorders, focusing on advocacy for individuals with rare diseases. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in English from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Sarah Lawrence College.
