Christa Salerno

Christa Salerno is an experienced professional in sports media relations, currently serving as the Director at Florida State University since July 2011, where responsibilities include acting as the primary contact for women's basketball and men's golf, overseeing a public relations internship program, and handling select football duties. Previously, Salerno held the positions of Football Media Coordinator and Assistant Sports Information Director at Florida State, managing communications for football, swimming and diving, and cross country, while coordinating internships. Salerno's early career includes an internship with the University of Pittsburgh's media relations, where contributions involved assisting during training camps and game days, a media relations internship with the Detroit Lions, and an internship at KDKA-TV Sports Department. Salerno holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Toledo.
