Gisela Jenkins

Gisela Jenkins, M.A. is an experienced school counselor currently serving at Florida Virtual School since September 2023, and previously held positions at Stride, Inc. from August 2018 to September 2023 and Orange County Public Schools from January 2017 to August 2018, working with high school students in grades 9-12. With a strong commitment to education, Gisela believes in the significant role of school counselors in shaping future generations. Gisela's earlier experience as an Online Academic Advisor at Full Sail University from May 2012 to January 2018 highlights a passion for virtual learning environments, while previous work as a Dependency Case Manager at Children's Home Society from March 2011 to May 2012 contributed to a well-rounded background in student support. Gisela holds a Master of Arts in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of Central Florida.
