Wendy Wawrzyniak

Wendy Wawrzyniak is an experienced educator currently serving as a Virtual Teacher at Florida Virtual School since August 2023. With a diverse teaching background, Wendy has owned The World is Your Classroom since March 2017 and worked as a Social Studies Educator at Hillsborough County Public Schools from July 2014 to August 2023, focusing on International Baccalaureate Social Studies and Advanced Placement European History. Additional roles have included teaching high school social studies and special education, as well as serving as a teacher at Outschool and leading the Social Studies Department at Citrus County School Board from August 2004 to May 2015. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Education and a Master's Degree in Special Education and Teaching from SUNY Geneseo and Buffalo State University.
