Michel van Hout

Michel van Hout serves as the CIO of Dutch Flower Group since January 2018, focusing on digital optimization across approximately thirty companies in the fresh cut flowers and plants trade. In 2024, Michel commenced roles as a bestuurslid at Floricode and as a member of the Raad van Toezicht at Floridata. Previously, Michel held the position of VP ICT & CIO at Transavia, overseeing digitalization initiatives, and extensive experience at KLM in various leadership roles, including VP IMO Operations and VP Market Research Manager. Michel's academic background includes degrees from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, with additional executive education from Harvard Business School and IMD.
