Travis Shives

Travis Shives has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Travis started their career in 1999 with the Minnesota Vikings Football, LLC, where they worked in team operations and public relations until 2001. From 2003 to 2008, they served as the Manager of National Events at USA Wrestling, overseeing regional, national, and international competitions. In 2008, they joined LiveTechnology as an Account Executive, managing relationships with clients and developing communication technology solutions. Travis then worked at USA Hockey, Inc. as the Manager of Sponsor Services from 2008 to 2012, developing and fulfilling marketing and sponsorship plans. From 2012 to 2013, they were the Director of Business Development at Touchpoint Media, responsible for company growth and expanding client base. Travis then joined SportsEngine in 2013, starting as the Strategic Business Development before transitioning to the roles of Regional Sales Manager and Director of Enterprise Sales. In 2016, Travis joined NBC Sports Next as the Vice President of Partnerships and Commercial Development, responsible for developing sports technology solutions. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Vice President of Strategy at FloSports, a sports streaming service offering live and on-demand access to various sports events.

Travis Shives has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Travis also holds a Masters degree in Communication from the same university.
