Lisa Mikkelsen

Lisa is passionate about engaging and leveraging all levels of talent at scaling companies. At Flourish, she is the head of global human capital, where she leads people operations for the firm and helps portfolio organizations align their business strategy with their human resources strategy.

Lisa focuses on talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, and programs and processes for all stages of the employee lifecycle. Previously, she was part of the Human Capital team at Omidyar Network for eight years.

Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Lisa served as the director of recruiting at technology startup Inflection. As one of the first employees, she grew the team and culture of this boot-strapped startup. Previously, Lisa worked as a recruiting consultant after spending nearly six years at QuinStreet, as HR department-of-one and building a team of recruiters as the company rapidly scaled globally.

Lisa received her bachelor’s degree in human development from the University of California, San Diego, where she graduated summa cum laude.
