Tyler Mann

As Head of Legal, Tyler has global responsibility for all legal aspects of Flourish’s investment process. In this capacity, he aims to make deal closings as effortless as possible for entrepreneurs partnering with Flourish.

Tyler’s legal focus sits at the cross-section of international transactions and venture capital. He brings a strong background in venture investing, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. Prior to Flourish, he was associate counsel to Greenoaks Capital, where he managed the legal process for venture investments including throughout the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, India, and Latin America.

Before joining Greenoaks Capital, Tyler was a corporate associate at Gunderson Dettmer, where he advised startups throughout their life cycles, from formation to exit and everything in between. Tyler began his career at multinational law firm DLA Piper. While there, he served as the associate representative to a pro bono transactional clinic for local entrepreneurs.

Tyler has a Bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary and a law degree from the George Washington (GW) University where he graduated summa cum laude. Tyler’s passion for working with social entrepreneurs to solve important problems was sparked during his time in GW’s Small Business and Community Economic Development Clinic.
