Ash Ortiz, MSHRD, PHR, PAHR (She/Her) has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Ash is currently working as the Global Director of Development & Inclusion at Flow International, where they are responsible for impacting employee engagement and retention through organizational and employee movement data. Prior to this role, they served as the Global HR Operations, Learning, and Analytics Manager at the same company, where they improved monthly HR headcount reporting and provided OSHA and accident reporting to assist management in understanding global accidents.

Before joining Flow International, Ash worked at Dynamic Language as the Manager of Interpreting Department and Internal ISO Auditor. In this role, they played a key role in the company's growth and success by providing transactional HR functions, implementing a performance management system, and incorporating DEI competencies in recruitment and onboarding processes.

Ash also has experience as a Human Resources Consultant at Gnocchi Bar, a Private Events Coordinator at Savor Seattle Tours, and a Manager on Duty/Training Coordinator at Hawkers Asian Street Food. In these roles, they contributed to various HR, training, and operational initiatives, including creating policies and procedures, designing training programs, and improving talent acquisition processes.

Additionally, Ash has worked as an Assistant Regional Director at Challenge Entertainment, an Office Manager at tekGIANTS, Inc., and an Account Analyst at Server Intellect. These experiences have provided their with a well-rounded skill set and a background in managing and supporting diverse teams.

Ash Ortiz, MSHRD, PHR, PAHR (She/Her) started their education at Valencia College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies. Ash then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Organizational Behavior from Rollins College, which they completed in 2012. Later, in 2015, they earned their Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Development from Villanova University.

Continuing their education, Ash Ortiz obtained further certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2016, they became a Professional of Human Resources (PHR) through the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2017, they received the Memsource Certified Trainer certification from Memsource. Furthermore, in 2018, they became a Commissioned Washington State Notary through the Washington State Department of Licensing. In 2021, they obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. Additionally, in 2022, they obtained the People Analytics for HR (PAHR) certification from the Human Capital Institute. Lastly, in 2023, they acquired the OSHA 10 Hour Certification - General Industry from 360training and the Adult/Child/Baby First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross.

Currently, Ash Ortiz is pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Human & Organizational Psychology at Touro University Worldwide, which they are expected to complete in 2026.
