Garth Basson

Garth Basson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent position was as the VP of Digital Manufacturing & OT at Flowers Foods & Subsidiaries since June 2023. Garth previously served as the VP of Digital Transformation at the same company from an unspecified start date in 2021 until October 2023. Prior to that, they worked at The Coca-Cola Company as the IT COE Lead for Technical & Supply Chain from an unspecified start date in 2018 until 2020. Garth also held the position of CIO at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa from 2016 to 2018. Garth has experience working at SABMiller as well, where they held various roles including GBS Director, Global Head of Solution Delivery, Head of IS Service Delivery, Head of IS, and Business Systems Executive, among others. Garth also worked at The South African Breweries as a Manufacturing Systems Manager and at Unilever as a C&A Consultant, Y2K Implementation Manager, and Control Engineer.

Garth Basson holds a BSc degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
