Carlos A. Castañon

Carlos A. Castañon is an IGNITE Engineer currently participating in the IGNITE Leadership Development Program at Flowserve Corporation, focusing on Supply Chain and Procurement as well as Global Operations Excellence in Engineering Standards and Tools. Previously, Castañon served as a Collegiate Senator of Engineering with UTEP SGA and completed internships as a Product Design Engineer Intern at Amazon, a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Bayer Crop Science, and another Mechanical Engineer Intern at W. Silver, INC. Additionally, Castañon gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at El Paso and worked as a Math Tutor covering Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Probability. Castañon holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science from The University of Texas at El Paso and completed the Summer Venture in Management Program at Harvard Business School.
