Matthew Donaldson

Matthew Donaldson, SPHR/SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Matthew has held various leadership roles in prominent companies such as Flowserve Corporation, Brady Corporation, BP, Cooper Industries, and the US Secret Service. During their tenure at Flowserve Corporation, Matthew served as the Vice President of Human Resources for different divisions and regions. Matthew was responsible for driving HR strategy, leadership development, workforce planning, compensation, and performance management. Prior to that, at Brady Corporation, Matthew held the position of Vice President of Human Resources and Director of HR for different regions and business units. Matthew also served as a Graduate Resourcing Advisor at BP and held multiple HR roles at Cooper Industries. Matthew started their career as an intern with the US Secret Service, gaining valuable experiences in protection and counterfeit operations. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise and leadership in HR strategy and planning, organization development, and talent management.

Matthew Donaldson, SPHR/SHRM-SCP, obtained their Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) degree from Purdue University in the year 2000. Matthew is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from the Texas Christian University - M.J. Neeley School of Business, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete by 2022. In terms of certifications, Matthew has obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM in March 2015. Matthew has also obtained certifications such as EQ-i 2.0 + EQ 360 Certification Program from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS), EQi 2.0/EQ 360 Certification from OKA (Otto Kroeger Associates), and the Korn Ferry Leadership Solution: Master Class from Korn Ferry. In 2023, they are enrolled in the Deloitte Next Generation CHRO Academy. Additionally, they hold an SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
