Melisa Sarici

Melisa Sarici is a Research and Development Engineer currently employed at FLSmidth since February 2024, with prior experience at ICEpower A/S from September 2020 to January 2024 and ResenWaves as a student employee focusing on converter design for wave energy applications from September 2019 to August 2020. Melisa completed a master’s thesis project at Danfoss Drives addressing converter design for soft charging of DC link capacitors and participated in the ECPE SiC & GaN User Forum discussing the potential of wide bandgap semiconductors. Previous internships include work at TÜBİTAK designing a buck converter for PV battery charging and a computer science internship at Turkish Aerospace. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University, along with additional studies in multiphysics simulations and a summer exchange program in Germany.
