Yamato Battirossi

Yamato Battirossi is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of ESG Finance at FLSmidth since February 2016, where responsibilities include supporting finance process optimization and implementing group initiatives focused on stakeholder and change management. Prior to this role, Yamato held positions at M&G, starting as an Equity Performance Analyst and advancing to Market Intelligence and Risk Manager, focusing on risk analysis for equity funds and producing client-facing thought pieces. Earlier experience includes being a Senior Performance Analyst at IPD, managing a team dedicated to real estate fund performance reporting. Yamato holds a CFA charter from the CFA Institute, a Master’s degree in Economics & Econometrics from The University of Manchester, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UCL.
