Jean-Marc Favaro, PhD has worked in the data analytics field for over two decades. Jean-Marc began their career in 1996 as the Responsable du Service Geomarketing at Philip Morris International. In 2001, they took on the role of Responsable d'Etudes Geomarketing at Asterop. From 2003 to 2008, they worked as an Ingenieur d'Etudes at the CNRS - Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. From 2008 to 2015, they were a Senior Data Analyst at La Banque Postale. In 2017, they became a Geo-Data Scientist at Admoove. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Co-Founder and Chief Data Officer at Fluctuo, an independent third-party data specialist focused on shared-mobility services.

Jean-Marc Favaro, PhD obtained their PhD in Quantitative & Theoritical Geography from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2007. Jean-Marc also obtained their DEA ATEG in Sciences de l'information géographique et cartographie from the same university in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained their Master in Econometrics from the Université Paris Nanterre in 1994. Jean-Marc also has a certification from DataCamp in Foundations of Functional Programming with purrr Course.
