Rene Reumkens

Rene Reumkens has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various finance and leadership roles. Rene currently serves as the CFO of Fluence, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Signify from 2018 to 2022, where they held multiple roles. Rene served as the Post Merger Integration Finance Lead for the Cooper Lighting Solution and Fluence acquisition, overseeing all finance aspects of the integration process. Rene also led a global team as the Value Stream Leader for Working Capital, implementing initiatives to reduce Signify's working capital and improve free cash flow. Additionally, they were the Head of Accounting Operations Transitions, managing the transition of local Accounting Operations to shared service centers and a BPO partner.

Before joining Signify, Reumkens worked at Philips Lighting from 2012 to 2018. Rene held the position of Head of Accounting Operations Transitions, where they led a cross-regional team in transitioning local Accounting Operations to shared service centers and a BPO partner. Rene also served as the QxP Program manager, overseeing the connection between logistic planning and financial planning to ensure efficient supply chain and financial commitment.

Reumkens' earlier experience includes roles at Philips Lighting from 2002 to 2012, where they were involved in various finance and business partner positions. Rene played a key role in value engineering and analysis programs, industrial footprint defining, and sales and margin improvement plans. Rene also served as the CFO of Philips General Purchasing, leading successful business process outsourcing and organizational transformation efforts. Additionally, they held the role of Finance Business Partner for Philips Optical Storage and a Total Value Manager for Sector Lighting Purchasing.

Prior to their tenure at Philips Lighting, Reumkens worked at Yageo from 2000 to 2002 as the CFO of Phycomp/Yageo Europe. In this role, they led the integration of the Philips Discrete Ceramics business and carried out cost reduction and working capital optimization programs.

Reumkens began their career at Philips in 1990, where they held various finance-related roles. Rene served as the Finance Business Partner for BU Discrete Ceramics and Regional Controller for NAM BG Advanced Ceramics and Modules, overseeing restructuring and cost optimization efforts. Rene also worked as a financial controller in different divisions of Philips Components.

Additionally, Rene completed a Post bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Hogeschool 's-Hertogenbosch from 1992 to 1994. Furthermore, they obtained a degree as a Financial Controller FC in Business/Managerial Economics from Open Universiteit / Hogeschool Limburg Contracting between 1997 and 1998.
