Brian Perusse

Brian Perusse has over 17 years of work experience in various roles related to sales, market development, strategic marketing, and business development in the renewable energy industry. Brian most recently served as the VP of Sales & Market Development, EMEA at Fluence, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to that, they were the VP of Americas Sales at Fluence from August 2020 to June 2021. From January 2018 to August 2020, Brian was the VP of Global Strategic Marketing & Communications at Fluence. Before joining Fluence, they worked at The AES Corporation as the Vice President of International Market Development - Energy Storage from April 2015 to December 2017, and as a Business Development professional in AES Energy Storage from June 2009 to April 2015. Brian also gained experience as a Consultant at AES-Solar from September 2008 to May 2009 and as an Intern at AES Corporation - AES Solar Ltd. in 2008. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Representative at Alternative Energy Store from November 2006 to June 2007. Brian began their career as a Small Business Development Volunteer in the Peace Corps in Morocco from September 2004 to June 2006.

Brian Perusse completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, graduating in 2001. In 1999, they attended the United States Air Force Academy for a brief period of two years.
