Smrutish Tarde

Smrutish Tarde has extensive work experience in procurement and logistics. They are currently the Director of Procurement and Logistics - APAC at Fluence since September 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Category Manager at Ausgrid from April 2016 to October 2022. Additionally, Smrutish held various positions at Alstom Grid Australia from November 2006 to March 2016, including Head of Procurement for Australia and New Zealand, Price Manager for East Asia Pacific, and Operations Manager for HV Equipment. They also worked at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Japan as a Contract Manager from April 2001 to October 2006, and at Alstom Power in Germany as an Assistant Project Manager from January 2000 to March 2001. Smrutish's earlier experience includes working as a Strategic Purchasing Manager at Asea Brown Boveri in India from August 1994 to December 1999, where they managed sourcing activities for power plant projects and supported high-profile infrastructure projects.

Smrutish Tarde obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Hons) from MS University in 1994.
