Lorenz Wicky

Lorenz Wicky is a seasoned project leader and engineer with extensive experience in various technical and managerial roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Senior Project Leader at Flughafen Zürich AG since December 2022, Wicky previously held positions such as Projektleiter Sicherungsanlagen at SBB CFF FFS from March 2020 to November 2022 and Engineering Project Manager at RUAG from November 2014 to February 2020. Wicky's earlier roles include Fachbereichsleiter Telecom at AlpTransit Gotthard AG and positions at RUAG MRO Schweiz where responsibilities included deputy project lead and systems engineering for flight simulators. Wicky began the professional journey with a Developer Internship at UBS. Academically, Wicky holds a Dipl. El.-Ing ETH in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from ETH Zürich, a Master of Advanced Studies in Business Administration and Engineering from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and completed a Master's Thesis in Biomedical Optics at The University of Texas at Austin.
