Michael Hofmeier has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and positions over the years. Michael started their career in 2001 as the Chief Communication Officer for Swisscoy/NATO, KFOR. In 2004, they joined Schmid Telecom AG, where they worked as an Application Engineer, Project Manager, and eventually became the Head of Production Control & Logistics. In 2011, they joined Zurich Airport Ltd, where they held various positions including Head Communication Services Engineering, Senior ICT Architect, Expert ICT Architect, Head ICT Infrastructure, and most recently, they are currently working as the Head ICT.
Michael Hofmeier completed their education in a chronological order as follows:
- From 1995 to 1998, they attended Fachhochschule and obtained an Ingenieur degree in Electronics and Telecommunication, with the title Dipl. Ing. HTL.
- In 2002 to 2003, they pursued further education at The University of Edinburgh, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Telecommunication Engineering.
- Finally, from 2007 to 2009, Michael attended PHW and completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA FH) degree in International Management, which was accredited by FIBAA.
