Stefan S.

Stefan S. has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Stefan is currently working as the Head ICT Infrastructure at Flughafen Zürich AG since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Schweizer Armee as the Leiter IT Security & Service Management from 2020 to 2022, and as the Leiter ICT Operation & Control from 2017 to 2020. Before joining Schweizer Armee, Stefan served as the Head Engineering & Operations at ngworx.ag in 2016. Stefan also held the position of Head IP & Optical Engineering Switzerland & Austria at UPC Schweiz GmbH from 2013 to 2016. In addition, Stefan worked as a Senior Manager Backbone Engineering at Huawei for a short period in 2012. Stefan spent a significant part of their career at Sunrise Communications AG, where they held the role of Senior Manager Backbone Engineering from 2001 to 2012. Prior to that, Stefan worked as a Network Design Engineer at diAx and as a SW Entwicklungs Ingenieur at Siemens.

Stefan S. pursued their education chronologically, starting with a degree in Elektroingenieur FH from HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil. Stefan attended this institution from 1992 to 1996. Later on, they enrolled at The University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur from 2007 to 2008 to obtain a degree in MAS Business Administration. Lastly, in the year 2019, Stefan attended ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, where they completed a CAS in Cyber Security.
