Senior Biomedical Engineer at FluidForm

Lauren DeLorenzo has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Research Volunteer position at the New York State Department of Health in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Lifeguard at Onondaga Golf and Country Club and as a Molecular Biology Research Intern at Upstate Medical University. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Cornell University in various roles, including Graduate Teaching Assistant, Product Development Engineer, Chemistry Course Assistant, and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, where they were selected to guide students in understanding biomaterials coursework and led office hours. Lauren also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, designing and conducting characterization experiments on alginate nanoparticles. In 2019, they moved to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they worked as a Research Engineer until 2022. Currently, they are a Senior Biomedical Engineer at FluidForm.

Lauren DeLorenzo received their Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University in 2018. Lauren obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Cornell University in 2018 as well.
