Brian K. Walsh, PhD, RRT, FAARC, serves as a Professor and Chair at The University of Texas Medical Branch since June 2022. Brian also co-founded fluidIQ in June 2020, where the role of Chief of Clinical Research is held. Previous academic appointments include Adjunct Professor and Founding Program Director at Liberty University from July 2017 to June 2022 and Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School from August 2013 to December 2017. Notably, Brian served as Past President of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) and has extensive experience in respiratory care management, including roles as Director of Respiratory Care at Children’s Hospital Colorado and Children’s Health. Educational credentials include a PhD in Health Services from Rush University, an MBA from Liberty University, and multiple degrees in respiratory care and health sciences.
