Steve Gutai

Steve Gutai has extensive work experience in the pool industry. Steve currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development for the Commercial Segment at Fluidra North America. Prior to this, they worked at Fluidra as the Director of Sales for the Western Division. In this role, they managed the sales regions of the Western Division and implemented corporate initiatives and strategies.

Before joining Fluidra, Gutai was the Director of Sales and Marketing at Zodiac Pool Systems. Steve oversaw the aftermarket service/renovation channel strategies and managed the national aftermarket sales force. Steve also held roles in trade marketing, heating systems product development, and new product development, where they developed strategies and executed plans to meet corporate goals.

Earlier in their career, Gutai worked at Jandy Pool Products as a Product Manager and Outside Territory Sales Manager, responsible for product development, strategic marketing, and outside sales. Steve also held the position of Technical Service Manager and OEM Sales at Waterway Plastics.

Steve Gutai received a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics from the University of San Francisco in 2005. In 2016, they completed the Negotiation Program at Karrass, focusing on negotiation techniques. In 2012, they participated in the Leadership Program at the Center for Creative Leadership, emphasizing the development of corporate leadership skills. From 2008 to 2009, Steve attended multiple management programs at the America Management Association. In 2023, they plan to participate in the Conscious Leader Program - IN4IMPACT! with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Steve also holds certifications in Goal Setting: Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Developing Executive Presence from LinkedIn.
