Brian Trapp

Brian Trapp, P.E. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Process Engineering Director for Advanced Technologies & Life Sciences at Fluor Corporation, Trapp's previous roles include Process Engineering Department Manager at Wood and Director of Viral Vector Manufacturing Operations at WuXi Advanced Therapies. At WuXi, Trapp led a team of 35 in delivering gene therapy clinical manufacturing programs and emphasized talent development. With a background in process engineering from GlaxoSmithKline, Jacobs Engineering, and Fluor, Trapp has managed project portfolios and optimized production processes throughout a career spanning over two decades. Trapp holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University.
