Jonathan Webber, Ph.D., P.Eng, currently serves as a Committee Member for the Subcommittee on Pressure Relief Systems at the American Petroleum Institute since January 2023, and has been with Fluor Corporation in various engineering roles since January 2006, primarily focusing on process design for refinery projects. With extensive experience in consulting and troubleshooting for refinery systems, Jonathan has also contributed to technology development assessments for carbon capture and hydrogen production during a secondment at Suncor. Previous experiences include project feasibility evaluations for Irving Oil, mentoring engineering students at the University of New Brunswick, and lecturing on process control and thermodynamics at Dalhousie University and Saint Mary's University. Jonathan holds a Ph.D. in Advanced Process Control from Dalhousie University and has degrees from McGill University and Dalhousie University in chemical engineering.
